Cast Considerations I picked Frank as the producer because he himself makes music too so i thought all the musical stuff would be easier for him than someone else. As well, he's a confident guy so i didn't think he'd be fazed much when in front of a camera.  I picked Emil as the rapper because he writes lyrics so that bit of the film would be made a lot easier than if someone who didn't write lyrics did it. As well, he does drama at his school and acts and some of his other friends short films so i thought he wouldn't be fazed when in front of a camera.

Locations I picked this spot for Frank and Emil to meet because it was local and it was a backroad so it was going to be busy. As well it had the door which could act as an entrance to the studio. The outside of the studio and the inside were filmed in different locations and the outside location allowed that match to work.                                                                                                                 I used this place because it's a music studio and it's in my school so it was easily accessible.     I used these two places because one's my bedroom, the other's my brothers so both were very accessible. As well, they both had everything i wanted for the shoot (turntables, speakers, MPC, Moog) so i didn't have to go anywhere to get access of these things.                                                                                     I used this space because it was easily acce
'Over' is a short by Jorn Threlfall, made in 2015. It uses reverse chronological storytelling in order to reveal the incidents that caused a crime scene. The use of diagetic sounds and no dialogue keeps the audience intrigued in whats happening, and it also keeps the audience take part in unravelling the story. The use of only using static shots, too, helps the audience try unravel what happened themselves. The use of long lasting shots with wide shots creates a lot of tension too as it makes the audience expect something to happen, however it does also make the narrative slow to develop.
'Slap' is a short by Nick Rowland. It's a coming of age about a teenage male boxer who finds freedom in expressing himself with make up and female clothing. Throughout, the boy is trying to construct his own version of masculinity, which is a topic that pervades throughout the film. The camera is mainly placed with the boy, showing his own journey. By doing this, the audience is forced to acknowledge the main topic of this film.
